QuickSection is used at any stage in the design process - from preliminary planning to final design and construction.

 It cuts cross sections wherever they are needed - to define: surface details,  profiles, channel profiles, culverts and construction detail.

Operation

• No training is required - learn to use in 5 minutes!
• Pick as many points as needed for section alignment, or
• Pick existing lines for section alignment
• Select location for the cross section drawing

TOPO Data

• Cuts section through contours, polylines, fault lines and 3D faces
• Works on AutoCAD contours from any source - survey, photogrammetry, USGS and design system models
• Select as many layers as needed
• Processes different line types - even if mixed
• Requires no preparation of contours

Drawing Output

• Section is drawn to the drawing scale
• User-definable vertical exaggeration
• User-definable drawing parameters
• Section grid and text on user-definable layers
• Section created is a polyline
